Character building need of the day

In the name of Allah the most beneficent

And the most merciful

Respected audience: Before commenting on the topic of “Character Building need of the day” I would like to pay thanks to the authorities and my school administration for giving me this opportunity to stand here and share my views.

Dear audience: The topic of todays competition is very important. There is no doubt that character building has always been the main object of all religions, faiths and societies in history, but now a days it is more desirable than ever before.

My friends: Have you ever thought why is there so much panic, disorder and intolerance in this world these days?

Why the son of a poor farmer remains uneducated?

Why the daughter of a poor worker remains unmarried?

Why the numbers of suicides are increasing?

Why?      Why?       Why?

Answer to all these questions is only one.  It is because our ideals are wrong; our pirorities are faulty; and above all this, our characters are bad.

Dear audience: It is really shameful to see that we take pride in having references for jobs; we violate the traffic rules we break the queue.

These are the signs of corrupt and rotten society.

We commit all types of crimes ranging from the innocent juvenile to the violent suicidal attacks.

Yes my friends we have to change our ideals we have to change our character otherwise we’ll destroy ourselves. Today’s child wants to be Spiderman, he wants to be Ben 10, and he even acts like Chotta Bheem.

I wonder why these nonsense characters have become our ideals. We don’t own them at all. We have many personalities in our history.

Why don’t we make Hazrat Ali our ideal?

He was the bravest among braves; the wisest among wise. Why don’t we make Hazrat umer our ideal? Muhammad Bin Qasim? Our local hero Muhammad Ali Jinnah? Dr. A.Q. Khan?

Dear audience:  Todays is the world of fast communication and rocket sciences. There is no room for any trivial and narrow minded approach. Those who are caught here will never go ahead. Everything is changing very fast so we should also change now. The need of the hour is to be positive in our approach. Let us free ourselves from these little problems and go ahead with brilliance.

Let us trust each other, let us cooperate each other, let us care each other, let us know who we are and what is our identity.

 

Dear Audience: There is no doubt that the situation is not good right now, but I’m not hopeless if I can say these things today I will do it tomorrow. I am not alone. All of my fellows here today are very serious about it. Let us make this world a better place.
